Assessment Roles
Texas A&M University uses the online platform HelioCampus (formerly AEFIS) to document annual Support Unit Assessment Plans and Reports. In addition to Office of Institutional Effectiveness & Evaluation (OIEE) staff who provide units with feedback and comments at the end of an assessment cycle, there are two other roles involved in the assessment documentation process:
- Program Coordinators: Staff who document and submit Assessment Plans and Reports in HelioCampus (AEFIS). Program Coordinators are assigned to one or multiple units/departments.
- Assessment Liaisons: Division or campus appointees who work with OIEE to provide support and communicate expectations to Program Coordinators in their respective division or campus; responsible for providing internal feedback on Assessment Plans and Reports in HelioCampus.
