14th Annual Texas A&M Assessment Conference - February 16-18, 2014

Conference Registration

- On or before 1/15/2014, Conference registration fee is $190
- After 1/15/2014, Conference registration fee will increase to $215
- Includes reception, all plenary sessions, all concurrent sessions, two continental breakfasts, and refreshment breaks.

Pre-conference Workshops (additional $70 each)

Two sessions of Pre-conference Workshops are offered on Sunday, February 16, 2014.
• Session One is from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Session Two is from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Lunch Presentation "MOOCs 2.0: Credit to Credit-ability. Where is All This Leading?" (additional $30)

This year's speaker will be Dr. James Hallmark (bio), Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs for the Texas A&M University System.
Dr. James Hallmark will present on Monday, February 17, 2014 during the lunch.
Lunch will be provided (Vegetarian option available).

Dr. James Hallmark currently serves as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs for the Texas A&M University System. Prior to this appointment, Hallmark served as Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs at West Texas A&M University as well as a lengthy term as Dean of the Graduate School and Research. Hallmark is the founding director of the William H. and Joyce Attebury Honors Program at WTAMU, served for two years as President of WTAMU’s Faculty Senate, and has been designated both a Presidential Teaching Fellow and Graduate Faculty Member of the Year. He previously has served as president of the Texas Council of Chief Academic Officers. Hallmark received his Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Oklahoma, and his Bachelor of Arts from Oklahoma Christian College.

Instructions for the Online Registration
(credit card or payment by check)

  1. Click on Online Registration.
  2. Please enter your email address and click Continue.
  3. Fill out the information and create a password. Remember your password because this will allow you access to your registration information regarding payments and workshops. Click Continue.
  4. Fill out the Attendee Information. If you are registering for someone else, please put in their information.
  5. Click on the Conference fee @ $215 box.
  6. Select which Morning and Afternoon Pre-Conference Workshop you would like to attend.
  7. If you would like to attend the lunch presentation "MOOCs 2.0: Credit to Credit-ability. Where is All This Leading?" with Dr. James Hallmark, click Lunch Presentation Monday, February 17, 2014 @ $30.00. Select your lunch preference then click Save & Continue.
  8. Please review your information, the workshop(s) information, and/or lunch presentation with lunch preference. 
  9. Select a payment method.
  10. If you select credit card as your method, please note that you will be directed to another secure site.
  11. If you are submitting payment by check, please print out the receipt after you click Finish Your Registration. You can access the receipt by clicking on the View Details link. Make check payable to Texas A&M University. Please send the registration receipt along with your check to:

Instructions for Paper Registration
(payment by check only)

  1. Click on Paper Registration Form link to open the form.
  2. Type in the Attendee’s required information.
  3. Select which Morning and Afternoon Pre-Conference Workshop you would like to attend.
  4. If you plan to attend the Lunch Presentation, select "MOOCs 2.0: Credit to Credit-ability. Where is All This Leading?" with Dr. James Hallmark, select yes and select your lunch preference.
  5. Click the Submit by Email button to send form electronically.
  6. Review your Registration Form and click Send.
  7. Click Print Form and include this with payment.
  8. Click Reset Form to register and submit another Attendee.
    Remember to fill out ONE form per attendee and ALL forms must be included with payments.
  9. Make checks payable to Texas A&M University.
  10. Please make sure the Total Registration Cost matches the amount on the check.
  11. Mail payment and ALL completed form(s) to:

  1. Please remember to email or fax (979-845-2519) the registration form for the conference BEFORE sending the form to your business office for check processing.

 


Cancellation Policy

Conference space is limited. Cancellations made on or before February 10, 2014 will incur a $50 processing fee. Refunds will be processed 4-6 weeks after cancellation. There will be no refund for cancellations made after February 10, 2014.
