Hotel Information
The conference hotel is the College Station Hilton and Conference Center. You can use one of the following to reserve a room:

The special room rate for the conference will be available until January 31, 2009 or until the group block is sold out, whichever comes first.

Meal Information
Complimentary continental breakfasts and afternoon snacks will be provided throughout the conference for registered conference participants. You may also register for the SACS Roundtable on Monday. Dr. David Carter, the Vice President and Director of Training and Research for SACS Commission on Colleges, will be our guest speaker, and lunch will be provided.
The area around the Hilton has experienced quite a lot of growth in the last year, and now there are multiple restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. A link to local restaurants can be found here www.aggielandmenus.info/, and a list of walking-distance venues will be included in the conference bag.
For dinner Monday night, conference participants can sign up at the registration table to attend one of our Communities of Practice dinners. These dinners provide opportunities for roundtable discussions with experts in several topics related to assessment in higher education. A member of the Assessment Conference Committee will escort the participants to a College Station eating establishment for a relaxed discussion on the topic of choice.
