The Office of Institutional Assessment Brown Bag Seminar Series showcases presenters from Texas A&M who have innovative and useful assessment ideas, techniques, and information to share that relate to assessment initiatives at the university and the mission of the office. Assessment Overview (1 hr.) and WEAVEonline Demo (1 hr.)
Tuesday, April 29th 10-11am (Part I) and 11 am-noon (Part II)
in Evans Library 204 E.
Wednesday, April 30th 1:30-2:30pm (Part I) and 2:30-3:30pm (Part II)
in Evans Library 204 E.

Part I - This presentation will provide an overview of assessment and will review the basic components of an assessment plan:  mission/purpose, outcomes, and measures with achievement targets.

Part II – This presentation will demonstrate the features and interface of WEAVEonline, such as logging in and entering assessment plan information.

NOTE:  Participants may feel free to come for Part I only, Part II only, or both. 

WEAVEonline Hands-on User Workshop

Monday, May 5th 1:30-3:30pm 102 B Student Computing Center
This presentation will allow users to log into WEAVEonline and practice entering information. The presentation will include a guided tour with time for application. Attendees should RSVP by May 1, and must have their NETID and password to get into the system (NETID management can be done at gateway.tamu.edu). Feel free to bring assessment information to enter during the workshop, or complete the worksheet found on our website.

WEAVEonline is a web-based assessment management system.  Faculty and staff can learn about and document assessment and improvement processes, procedures, and evidence.  The software can both lead and record assessment practices in academic, administrative, and educational support areas.
