When and where can I take the SCE?
Student Course Evaluations (SCE) normally scheduled to open the day after Q-Drop and close at 11:59 p.m. the day prior to the first day of finals. If your course uses Canvas, you can access your course evaluation there. Simply click on the "Course Evaluations" link on the left menu in the course. If your course does not use Canvas, you can log in to HelioCampus by clicking this link or go to https://tamu.aefis.net and authenticate via CAS with your NetID and password. NOTE: Preferred browsers are Chrome and Firefox.
Once in HelioCampus, your Action Items list should automatically appear. This is where all your course evaluations are listed. Click the blue pencil icon to open an evaluation form. If the Action Items list does not automatically appear, click the bell icon at the top right of the screen.

How can I find public SCE results?
TEC 51.974 requires student course evaluations of Instructors be available to the public. Results from student course evaluations can be found on the Public Class Schedule Listing.
- The course evaluation results can be accessed by first choosing the term. and subject.
- Once the subject and any other criteria is chosen, clicking on the Title of the course will bring up the details of the course section.
- A “Course Evaluation” link is listed under the "Section Details".
- In addition, advisors and students are able to view the evaluations from the course listings on their respective class schedules in Howdy.
Can I change my course evaluation responses after submitting the SCE online?
No. Once a student course evaluation is submitted, no additional changes can be made.
Will the instructor know my identity?
The student course evaluations are anonymous, and you will not be identified. However, if the class enrollment is less than five, your confidentiality could be compromised.
Can I request to reopen a course evaluation if I miss the deadline to submit?
No. Once student course evaluations are closed, students are unable to submit a survey.
