Distance Education Effectiveness - Roles
Texas A&M University uses the online platform HelioCampus to document DE Effectiveness reporting annually. In addition to Office of Institutional Effectiveness & Evaluation (OIEE) staff who provide programs with feedback and comments at the end of the reporting cycle, there are two other roles involved in this documentation process:
- DE Program Coordinators: Faculty, instructors, and occasionally staff who are responsible for documenting and submitting DE Effectiveness documentation in HelioCampus. Program Coordinators may be assigned to one or multiple programs.
- College DE Liaisons: College/school appointees who work with OIEE to provide support and communicate expectations to Program Coordinators in their respective college or school; responsible for providing internal feedback on DE documentation in HelioCampus.
